This service is for single mothers. It offers residential care for parenting young women and their children. This structured group life setting offers residential services focusing on specialized clinical and educational care for a population of mothers with infants or young children (often, the young children are "at risk"). This program also offers individual and family counseling, a detailed parent training curriculum, adoption services upon request and after-care planning. The mothers range in age from 15 - 19 years old, and the children range from newborn to 2 years in age. Women can reside in the program for up to 2 years.

This service is for pregnant and parenting single mothers. It offers residential group care to young women experiencing unexpected pregnancies as well as young women with children in need of parenting skills. This program provides comprehensive medical planning and prenatal care, individual and family counseling, a parent training curriculum, a full range of adoption services and after-care planning. Young women in residence range in age from 15 - 19 years old, and the infants' age range from newborn to 2 years in age. Women can reside in the program for up to 2 years.

This offers residential group care to older single mothers with one or more infants or young children. Often, these children are at risk. This program offers individual and family counseling, a detailed parent training curriculum, group counseling and after-care planning. The mothers range in age from 19 - 30 years old, and the children range from newborn to 2 years in age. Women can reside in the program for up to 2 years.

Mary's Place, Lewiston

Here, we offer residential group care to single mothers with infants or young children. Often, these young children are at risk. Each client lives in an individual apartment-like setting, but shares congregate meals and social activities. This program offers individual and family counseling, a detailed parent training curriculum, adoption services upon request, and after-care planning. The mothers range in age from 15 - 19 years old, and the children range from newborn to 2 years in age. Women can reside in the program for up to 2 years.

Outreach Counseling

This program offers clinically based professional counseling and various case management services to women experiencing an unexpected pregnancy or difficulty managing single parenthood. Services are tailored to meet individual needs. Clinical Social Work staff meet clients in their home or arrange office visits if preferred.

Adoption Services

This service meets the needs of women experiencing an unexpected pregnancy who choose to make an adoption plan. Clinical Social Work staff offer professional counseling and guidance, arrange legal work, and provide clients with a range of prodpective adoptive parents who meet the birthmother's desired criteria. Birthmothers can meet the adoptive parents and are provided yearly updates on their child's well-being. Our adoption program is designed to meet the needs of the birthmother and to assure a stable, loving, home environment for the child. Our adoption program provides collaboration on International Adoption Placements, home study, and post placement supervisory services.
